What age is best to start drums?
Many kids start around age 6 or 7, but we teach students as young as 5 — and we also teach adult beginners! We tailor every lesson to the student’s pace and interest.
Do I need a drum set to start?
No! You can start with just a practice pad and sticks. We’ll help you get started affordably and guide you in choosing a kit when you’re ready.
What styles of drumming do you teach?
We teach rock, jazz, pop, funk, Latin, gospel, hip-hop, marching, and more. Lessons are always built around your musical interests.
Can you help with school band or drumline?
Absolutely! We support school band students with snare technique, rudiments, sight-reading, and audition prep for percussion sections.
Do you offer lessons for adult beginners?
Yes! Many of our drum students are adults learning for the first time or returning after a long break. We make it fun, flexible, and supportive.
