Donald Kearney
Born in Military family, Donald was born in Northampton, England where his father, an Air Force Sargent, was stationed at the time. From there, Donald lived in Pennsylvania and Delaware before coming to Texas. After graduating High School in Corpus Christi, he moved to San Antonio to attend college at Our Lady of the Lake University where he obtained a degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in music. After college, he was hired at Edgewood ISD where he taught for 25 years. 12 of those years were in elementary music teaching piano/keyboard, guitar, choir, and recorder as well as general music for grades K-5. Upon leaving full-time teaching, Donald took a job as a staff driver for the Meals on Wheels program for seniors. Donald still felt the call of teaching as he was also accepted as instructor at St. John music teaching piano, drums, and guitar.
When he's not delivering meals, or working at St. John's, Donald is very active as a soloist in various churches and has served in the San Antonio Choral Society for 6 years. He has also ventured into acting with his participation this past summer in AMTC (Actors Models and Talent for Christ) during their SHINE convention in Dallas, Texas.
